Competition Privacy Notice

What we collect

• Your name, email address and NSW postcode.
• The costume you voted for, and the date and time you entered and confirmed.
• Whether you ticked the optional marketing box.
• A one-way technical fingerprint of your connection, used only to stop automated voting. It is not used to identify you and is never shared.

Why we collect it

• To count your vote once and only once.
• To send you a confirmation link, and to contact you if you win a prize.
• Your postcode confirms you are eligible to enter under NSW promotional rules.
• If, and only if, you tick the optional box, to send you occasional Sydney Ghost Tours news. You can unsubscribe at any time.

What we never do

• We never sell, rent or trade your details.
• We never publish your name or email address. Results are shown as totals only.
• We never add you to a mailing list unless you actively tick the optional box.

Who can see it

• Only the promoter, Sydney Ghost Tours, and the email provider used to deliver your confirmation and winner emails.
• Entry details are stored in our secured booking system and are not visible to other visitors.

How long we keep it

• Entry details are deleted within 90 days of the final draw, except where we must keep prize records for our own accounting.
• If you ticked the optional marketing box, your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

• Email admin@sydneyghosttour.com at any time to see, correct or delete the details we hold about your entry.
• Deleting your entry before the draw removes your vote and your chance to win. We will tell you that before we do it.
